Hello there, Sam here!
I guess you can call me Bucky’s PR manager, heh. I make sure that Bucky doesn’t end up causing a scandal with this new blog of his, manage his inbox, and I do all his drawings for him (because as talented as Steve is, Bucky is quite hopeless in this area).
I’m glad that you’ve been enjoying Bucky’s Foodie Blog, and hope that you continue doing so! If you’re curious as to my personal tumblrs, my main art blog is Sama-Ma and if you wanna see my stucky fan art and my senseless crying over this cute couple, you can visit my Voodooling blog!
Best Wishes and have fun!
- Sam, Manager for the oldest Food Blogger in the world
Yeah, that’s my job in a nutshell.
Yes hello feel free to check out my new side blog!
heh thank you so much!!! It’s fun~~ And makes me hungry~~~
Desserts man, nothing beats desserts. I got a mean sweet tooth, so I bake all the time. I made this Capsicle cake for Steve the other day :)
Oh I have sent them out! It should have arrived, unless it got lost in the mail D= email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and I’ll try to get it sorted. if you are international it might take awhile but yeah email me please!!
Pizza. Any kind of pizza. Gimme ALL the pizza.
Pizza is love, Pizza is life.
PANCAKES. Pancakes are great. They are so yummy bro, just… Pancakes are really really great. Thor seems to love making them, so whenever he’s in town he’ll whip up a giant batch of ‘em for whoever’s staying at the tower that day. Also Darcy recently found this Avengers merchandise that’s basically a pan for making pancakes, but it imprints images on to the pancakes you make. My favourite’s the Captain America one, obviously.
Anything cute actually.
Yes yes I know it seems a little strange maybe, Stark takes every chance he can to tease me about it but… You’ve seen those creative desserts they make yeah? Especially in Japan? I’ve reblogged a few on to my blog. Something about them is just so… cheerful? And it’s fun to make something that people can appreciate. Whenever I show them pictures of these creative cute foods to someone, they always smile, and that’s… That’s nice y’know? So I started trying to replicate the ones I saw online, and then eventually, started making my own designs.
That’s a bit of a long winded answer, but basically yeah, I like to make cute food. There, it’s out there as public knowledge now.
But hey hey hey! It’s not just all cuteness, it’s kinda cool right, right? The other day I made some Cat Avengers Donuts for my friends here at the tower. I’ve still gotta make one for Falcon, but I’mma wait until he’s back from DC for that.
Good ol’ Chicken Noodle Soup. Every time he got sick, I made a batch up for him. When money was tight tho, I had to cut out the chicken from it but I did what I could to get meat when I can. He needed the protein and well… Anything for Stevie really.
He said it was delicious every time, so I guess I didn’t do too bad. Unless he was faking it to make me feel better… Oh man I hope not. If he had to be both sick and suffer from my terrible cooking skills then… Well I hope not!
Let me tell you a lil’ story of mine.
Back when Steve and I were growin’ up, we were poor, but at the beginning we weren’t y’know, dirt poor, not until the stock markets crashed in ‘29 and jobs became limited. Steve’s parents were Irish you see, and often his Ma would make this Irish Stew, since it’s the kind of meal that would have enough leftovers to last for a day or two more. Just… warm soft meats and flavorful vegetables, it was the ultimate comfort food! And since I went over to the Rogers’ place a lot, I ended up eating it a lot, and it was so delicious.
Fast forward a few decades and here I am, with my best pal, in the future. Things are different, we’re different, and heck, our friendship finally changed too. So of course, four our first date, Steve insisted on cookin’ his Ma’s stew for the both of us to eat. It was just… It brought me back a few memories first of all, and well, no offence to Steve’s Ma but, I think Steve cooks it a lot better. Then again, I may be a lil’ biased.
So there you go, we ate Irish Stew on our first date. Then we cuddled up on the couch and caught up on a few of those disney movies. I think it was Hercules and Mulan that we watched. Great movies, those two.
