Aw shucks, that was quick! I started this blog just to hoard photos of food and gain inspiration for what I could cook for the other Avengers. I didn’t expect all of you! Thanks a bunch, you’re all great, ever single one of you!
Halloween’s coming up y’know, and for some reason Stark has an entire wardrobe of halloween costumes. Why any single guy needs this many costumes beats me, but we had fun tryin’ on all the costumes. So, to kinda celebrate this milestone, here’s Steve and I in our Bacon and Eggs costumes, HAH! Eggs are great, I love eggs. REAL eggs of course, none of that powdery army ration stuff. That stuff is rank.
So thank you again, and maybe we’ll try on a few other food-related costumes for you all if we’re up to it!

Anonymous asked:

yo, buck, what do you normally eat for breakfast?

buckytummy:

PANCAKES. Pancakes are great. They are so yummy bro, just… Pancakes are really really great. Thor seems to love making them, so whenever he’s in town he’ll whip up a giant batch of ‘em for whoever’s staying at the tower that day. Also Darcy recently found this Avengers merchandise that’s basically a pan for making pancakes, but it imprints images on to the pancakes you make. My favourite’s the Captain America one, obviously.

Anonymous asked:

Hey Bucky, what's your favorite thing to cook when you're feeling down?

buckytummy:

Anything cute actually.

Yes yes I know it seems a little strange maybe, Stark takes every chance he can to tease me about it but… You’ve seen those creative desserts they make yeah? Especially in Japan? I’ve reblogged a few on to my blog. Something about them is just so… cheerful? And it’s fun to make something that people can appreciate. Whenever I show them pictures of these creative cute foods to someone, they always smile, and that’s… That’s nice y’know? So I started trying to replicate the ones I saw online, and then eventually, started making my own designs.

That’s a bit of a long winded answer, but basically yeah, I like to make cute food. There, it’s out there as public knowledge now.

But hey hey hey! It’s not just all cuteness, it’s kinda cool right, right? The other day I made some Cat Avengers Donuts for my friends here at the tower. I’ve still gotta make one for Falcon, but I’mma wait until he’s back from DC for that.

What was your favourite meal you liked to cook for Steve when he was sick? c:

buckytummy:

Good ol’ Chicken Noodle Soup. Every time he got sick, I made a batch up for him. When money was tight tho, I had to cut out the chicken from it but I did what I could to get meat when I can. He needed the protein and well… Anything for Stevie really.

He said it was delicious every time, so I guess I didn’t do too bad. Unless he was faking it to make me feel better… Oh man I hope not. If he had to be both sick and suffer from my terrible cooking skills then… Well I hope not!

Anonymous asked:

What kind of food did you eat on your first date with Steve?

buckytummy:

Let me tell you a lil’ story of mine.

Back when Steve and I were growin’ up, we were poor, but at the beginning we weren’t y’know, dirt poor, not until the stock markets crashed in ‘29 and jobs became limited. Steve’s parents were Irish you see, and often his Ma would make this Irish Stew, since it’s the kind of meal that would have enough leftovers to last for a day or two more. Just… warm soft meats and flavorful vegetables, it was the ultimate comfort food! And since I went over to the Rogers’ place a lot, I ended up eating it a lot, and it was so delicious.

Fast forward a few decades and here I am, with my best pal, in the future. Things are different, we’re different, and heck, our friendship finally changed too. So of course, four our first date, Steve insisted on cookin’ his Ma’s stew for the both of us to eat. It was just… It brought me back a few memories first of all, and well, no offence to Steve’s Ma but, I think Steve cooks it a lot better. Then again, I may be a lil’ biased.

So there you go, we ate Irish Stew on our first date. Then we cuddled up on the couch and caught up on a few of those disney movies. I think it was Hercules and Mulan that we watched. Great movies, those two.

dotheynow asked:

Your blog is making me hungry and craving things I don't have the neccessary ingredients for. Can't even go out to do some shopping because the stores close at eight here.

buckytummy:

Hah! Thanks I guess, yeah it’s makin’ me a lil hungry too. Good thing that Stark always keeps the common areas stocked with enough food to make us sick. Wow, eight? Isn’t that a lil’ early? What if you get a hankerin’ for something yummy at midnight?

But y’know, Steve actually likes grocery shopping. I have no idea what’s the appeal, with the crowds and the bright florescent lights and those self check out doodad machines, but he likes it. So our personal floor of the Avengers Tower is fully stocked by whatever Steve’s bought for the week.

I bet you anything he goes to the grocery store just to help little ol’ ladies with their shopping bags, that meatball.

the-southern-sweetiepie asked:

Hey Bucky! What do you think of sweet tea?

buckytummy:

Y’know, for a guy who sure loves sweets, I actually don’t particularly like sweet tea. Ya I’ll drink it if y’gave it to me, but I actually prefer my tea to be bitter, just plain black and pipping hot please.

Which is strange now that I think about it… Since I have a soft spot for those sweet coffee flavors over at Starbucks. Mmmm, pumpkin spice.

Steve likes sweet tea tho.
